Project Details

The Dakshinpara Durgotsab Committee Website was developed to showcase and digitally represent one of Kolkata’s most vibrant community Durga Puja celebrations. The objective was to create an engaging online platform that highlights the committee’s cultural activities, event schedules, announcements, and photo galleries, while making it easy for visitors and devotees to stay connected.

As the developer, I built the website using Custom PHP for backend development, ensuring flexibility and scalability. A MySQL database was implemented to manage event details, updates, and archives efficiently. On the front end, the design was created using HTML, CSS (Bootstrap 5), and jQuery, providing a responsive, user-friendly, and visually appealing experience across devices.

The website also integrates:

• Dynamic content management for easy updates by the committee.
• Event highlights and Puja schedules for community engagement.
• Photo and video gallery sections to capture the festive spirit.
• SEO optimization and responsive design to ensure reach and accessibility.

This project not only served as a digital identity for the Dakshinpara Durgotsab Committee but also strengthened my experience in full-stack web development, CMS building, and cultural event website design.
